    Job Profile:

    • 1. Edit documents as per the Publisher’s language and style requirement

  • Language Editor

    Candidate Profile:

    • 1. 6 – 36 months of experience in Copy Editing / Language Editing of STM Journals / Books, with high emphasis on quality
    • 2. Excellent English skills (verbal & written), an eye for detail, proficiency in Microsoft Word
    • 3. Enthusiastic learner and passion for reading / editing, flexible to work in rotational shifts (no night shifts for women employees)

    Job Profile:

    • 1. Edit author manuscript for spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, and rephrasing sentences as needed
    • 2. Edit and ensure that the document conforms to the publisher's language and style requirements
    • 3. Language editing of Journals / books with high emphasis on quality
    • 4. Responsible for doing regular checks of files copy edited by the Editor trainees and give them appropriate feedback

  • Copy Editor

    Candidate Profile:

    • 1. 12 to 48 months of experience in Copyediting of STM Journals / Books, with high emphasis on quality
    • 2. Should have good communication skill in English

    • 4. Should be flexible to work in shifts, should be willing to extend and work based on the business requirement

    Job Profile:

    • 1. Responsible for checking the style of the content with the given style sheets
    • 2. Ensure consistency and availability of the data as per customers specification
    • 3. Checking for appropriate Punctuation, Capitalization and Spelling
    • 4. Ensure high quality in all above mentioned aspects and should be capable of meeting crucial deadlines

  • Manager - Copyediting

    A diverse, multi-cultural team of full-time, part-time, flexitime, freelance and on-shore Copy Editors work together at TNQ. This means that we have in place Managers of Copyediting. We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience managing a composite team.

  • Software Engineer - InDesign Templates

    XML, Perl, XSLT, VB/Java Scripts and InDesign. We need Template Engineers with at least 3 years of experience in InDesign pagination, preferably in an XML-in flow.

  • PHP – Tech Lead

    • 1. Should have 6 – 9 years of total experience in PHP
    • 2. Must have strong knowledge in MVC frameworks; and minimum 1 year in Webservices

  • Deputy Manager - Production

    Should be a graduate/postgraduate with additional professional qualification in printing technology and at least 8 years of experience in typesetting and related fields, including 4 years in a supervisory/managerial role handling customers and production independently. Experience in setting up and administering reporting systems and day-to-day project management is mandatory. The proficiency to communicate with and manage US and European clients is a huge plus.

  • Assistant Manager - Production

    All else being equal with the Deputy Manager - Production, the Assistant Manager designate is expected to have 5 years of experience in the business.

  • Project Manager - STM Publishing

    In this position, you engage with researchers and authors from worldwide on a day-to-day basis. You interact with and report to publishers, societies and other suppliers, tracking and scheduling manuscripts till they go out i's dotted, t's crossed, finely edited, properly structured and styled, and page-perfect. If you have an eye for such and about 5 years of experience, opportunities at TNQ run in volumes.
    TNQ is also considering people with at least 3 years of experience in book or journal quality control with good communication skills, who can be groomed into Project Management.

    Candidate Profile:

    • 1. Graduates/ Post Graduates with a minimum of 2+ Years of experience in Proof Reading / Technical editing
    • 2. Should have handled Author’s corrections (Issues handling)
    • 3. Should have handled a team of Proof Readers & Technical Editors
    • 4. Should be capable of analyzing customer feedback along with Managing Editors and Assistant Managers and implement corrective and preventive measures
