"India has a great tradition of education, has produced numerous superb scientists, but it has not had, till this time, sufficient institutions where more than just a few scientists could fully realise their potential. So, many have found it necessary to go abroad, and have been notably successful as we see in the United States. I have trained quite a number of those myself, but all have stayed in the Unites States. So institution building is a key to the future."
